Well I guess punching a woman is a good way to test your strength! You never know how strong you are until you cold-cock a woman in the head and break that bitches jaw.

Next time she tries to punch you in the stomach, whip your wiener out and chase her around. Show her who's boss.

nope the RCA comes out the front and into the Main on the EQ then the RCA for the Powerbass is plugged into the sub out on the EQ

its weird but I think I got it figured out now the lows are slammin pretty fierce and no bass on the mids just blown tweeters but I'm calling Rockford on monday to see what they can do

there's your issue. run a set of rca's straight from the sub out on the deck to ur sub amp. all issues fixed and you'll still be able to eq ur mids/highs

Make sure you are using just the sub out on the alpine for the powerbass. Don't fuck with the eq for the sub. You'll just end up shittin up the signal going to to powerbass enough to burn up your coils in the end.

Go ahead and bypass your EQ completely. Use the adjustable sub gain and the speaker HPF on the Alpine and see if this cures your problems. The HPF setting on the alpine does not affect its signal processing on its two sub out channels. You'll have lows, mids, and highs with the Alpine deck, I PROMISE it is not the root of your problems.

Oh, and make your max volume no more than 26-28 on the alpine. You'll be clippless in that region with a little head room if you got any quieter songs.

Good luck man. I bet those lows are going to be nice.

Yea my bro had the same issue running his subs through his eq, so he ran them straight from the deck 10x better :D Maybe we should get a vid or two :D

well I'm going to call RF on Monday and hopefully get some new tweeters.. then sell my deck (someone already wants to buy it) and get a Pioneer like what Steve has since I got the hookup on those and that will be a 4v preout with all the crossover settings I would need

the reason I never run anything through my deck is because its a 2v preout and the EQ is at least 3v and it has a sub gain control unlike the Alpine

I've got it figured out now and my buddy let me borrow his Alpine 6.5" Coaxials that I threw in my kicks to at least have some tweeters

definitely not better than my RF comps by any means but its good enough for right now

the lows are killin the hoe right now!!

6 15's is going to destroy I know that

I was giving demos last night and the lens that goes over the middle light blew out and the whole front console where the rear A/C and map lights go the screw snapped and the clips gave way and just started dangling!

I knew it wasn't the box! :D

hey Elvis, you NEED to hear your box now that I have everything tuned for some lowssss :yahoo:

Alpine has sub gain control!!!!!!! You have to turn it on through the deck. Come on man.

 I know this but everytime I have used it I would still hear the sub

I still got some stuff to figure out but in the mean time I'll be groundpoundin away :D

Set it up properly, only time my sub gets smelly with my Alpine deck is from uber low voltage,. 1500+ watts rms on stock charging system FTMFL
