So im new to the gun deal. Wanting to get a shot gun for the home protection. Guy at work has a mossberg 88 12 gauge. Only had 30 shells through it. looks clean no scratches or anything. Offered it to me for $120. Just wondering if its worth it or not? Thanks guys any input would be helpful :pardon:

I would say yes it's a good deal. Its a name brand gun and comes with some shells. Ammo is not cheap these days so I would say go for it.

Mossberg makes some pretty good guns. Id go shoot a few and if it is good and clean buy it. I know there only Remington, but i love my 870 Express Magnum 20 gauge Pump shotgun, and my 1187 semi-auto 12 gauge. Both accurate guns, and have a big bang to them

take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey
