Cutting wire and sub terminals

Well, I have a couple questions.

1.What's the best way to cut 4 to 0 guage wire?

2. When wiring a 4 ohm DVC to 2 ohm, I read that you put to wires in one of the terminals for both positive and negitive. Am I supposed to put the two wires just bare in the terminal, or am I supposed to put the two wires into one banana plug? I want to use 12 to 10 guage for the sub wires.

You can just put them in bare and crush them with the terminal posts.

And to cut wire go buy some large gauge wire cutters from home depot/lowes/sears they will be your best friend. Klein is my preferred brand. Run about $25

For cutting 1/0 best thing I found is a sharp pair of scissors.. cuts threw the jacket pretty easily.

I use a nice pair of klein dike's and cut through a couple times

Ive got a huge workbench cut off saw lol. cuts through 0/1 like butter

Oddly enough, a bread knife with big teeth works pretty well for cutting finely stranded copper.

Electrical section at Menards look for cable cutters they cut up to 1/0, or a pair of scissors.
