bigjoe302boss
I amplanning on running 4 DC XL18s and want to run around 2k rms to each. Let me know what amps you would use in this situation. Need opinions so I can plan more of my electrical to better suit the amps I will use. So far I am torn between sundown, AQ, and DC (when they are available). EDIT^^^ i was slower than the wagon.. hdorre
An Audioque AQ20. It's priced nicely and gives each sub ~2000wrms at 12.5 volts. I don't believe it has a warrenty though. Or 2 RF 2500-1bds Edited June 22, 2010 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
infinity
ill get a sundown amp because they are underrated. So you will probably get more power than what the estimated power is. Also this amp has good THD (i think this means clean power, no chipped or distorted signals) but if your tight on money ill get the Audioque =) also as mentioned above, you will need to upgrade your electrical system. This is not cheap... so maybe Audioque amps Maybe flip a coin Heads=sundown tails=AudioQue both are really good amps! IMO rockford amps cost toooooo much...... bigjoe302boss
Preciate all the replies, and if I can get the sundowns at a decent price I will probably go that route.
