18 inch subs ?

when i do the 2nd audio system in my car i want to go somewhat out there with 2 18inch sub what is a good brand to use ? im looking at soundstream, re audio, and fi audio

alpine head unit (freebee 2009 model)2 sets of eclpise 5.25 comp. speakers.

1. set is in the a-pilors

1. memphis mojo 2500 watt amp

1. rockford fosgate t2 15"

dual 2 ohm wired to 4 ohm . seeing 600 watts

1. realm audio 600 watt 4ch

Fi, DD, Dc, etc.

i do see a lot of people rockin the fi .. how many watts can they handle ?

You said in a car. Now are you planning on walling the car off? or making a box that extends into the backseat? 18s generally require 5-10 cubic feet each. Have fun doing that in a trunk.

oh its a pt cruiser . i was planning on building about a 10 to 12 cuft box for this and running 2 fosgate power t2500's to each woofer.

sub brands... AA, Fi, DC, DD first ones that came to my head... oh also IA, Sundown, and more theres a lot but really just depends on ur budget, what amp u are going to use and if u are looking for spl or sq... but im guessing spl since its 2 18s haha

this go around SPL lol . each sub will have 5000 watts .. well the soundstream's were 1059 each on line but idk if the web site that had them for sale is any good .. and that woofer says it can handle 10,000 watts each that is a bit much
