bassl0va
Rule #1 The seller always organizes the deal Rule #2 The buyer may ask if he can do something, unless it completely takes away responsibility from the seller (like he's trying to do) Rule #3 Uncles/friends/movers never pick up the stuff, if they can't come and get it themselves, they are scammers. kirill007
Here is the email he sent me I really appreciate your response to my email. I want you to consider it sold, pls do withdraw the advert from CL to avoid disturbance, anyways I don't have time to come over to take a look because of my Business but you don't need to bother yourself with the shipment, I'll take care of that by engaging the services of a mover, hence I'll be sending a check and it will be delivered to you via United Parcel Service (UPS), so I'll need you to provide me with the following information to facilitate the mailing of the check. Full name to write on the check_____ Home address_________________ City_________________________ State________________________ Zip Code______________________ Mobile #________________________ Note that the payment will be shipped to your address via UPS NEXT DAY AIR SERVICE and I will like you to know that you will not be responsible for shipping i will have my mover to come over as soon as you have cashed the check* The red part is used like that in most scam emails. I wouldn't do it. Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
Neo_frog
I've been hit with this type of scam about a hundred times. People claiming they are in another country and wanting me to send it before payment, and this check bullshit as well, plus some others. If it's not 100% the way it's supposed to be, reply with a polite "go fuck yourself" and go about your day. Quote Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? Autruche
DO NOT EVER RESPOND TO THOSE KINDS OF EMAILS! You will get them like a third of the time you post on Craigslist. Always deal with cash and person to person. Honestly, don't even respond to their emails, if you use the Craigslist email randomizer then they won't know your email address, but if you respond then they have your email and will spam the shit out of it.
