Guest
i would do 4.1cuft after with 60sq in of port tune to 34hz really? strange. i was talking with nemesis DJ one day and he said that my 3cuft 35hz box will be perfect for a pair of sa-12's (just saying, not trying to throw you down)
btrango
Ha alright since i got a few different answers could you tell me what the pros and cons are for each one? I emailed Jacob at sundown and he told me optimal was 3.0-3.5 at 35hz, i was just trying to get different opinions even though im sure the guys at sundown have their stuff together. Would it be possible to use these plans but modify it to get a higher tuning frequencySSA Box Edited June 30, 2010 by btrango Quote Kenwood kdc-x794 Boston Acoustics S60 components, S65 Coaxials Jl J2-320.4 Sundown Audio Sae1200d 2 Sundown SA-12's D4 Car Quest NGT Extreme Upfront Shuriken BT-60 inback Big3 All Knu Konceptz wire
bigbodylexus
That design is very similar to what I have now, but I wouldn't tune it any higher Quote 1990 Chevy Suburban (Big Booty Judy) (4) Sundown Audio Zv5 18's (1) Sundown Audio Salt 12K (1) Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 (1) Sundown Audio SAE-50.4 (2) Crossfire ST-1 Tweeters (2) Obsidian Audio ST-1 tweeters (4) Sundown Audio Neo Pro v3 6.5's Saving 2nd Bass

Eric B
35hz for everyday music. Tuning any lower is virtually pointless IMO.
