kingsuv Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Hey man sick hairtrick..when you sealed it off from the trunk, how did you foam the sides without messing up all your carpet? No good way to protect the carpet from expandafoam. What I like to do is cut out my trim panels to match the angle of the back of the seat. In this case the panels are wedged between the wheel well and box. Before I wedge them into place I will carpet them and leave the side going to the seat back long. Once the panel is in place I will spray adhesive the extra to the metal on the seat back. If you cut your panel right they will be tight against the back of the metal and will only have a small gap between the two Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

speedball1978 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 if you want to foam the sides up without messin up the carpet, then lay out some plastic sheets or foil that way if you decide to tear it down.. the foil will just stick to the foam and it will never touch your carpet.. hope this helps
speedball1978 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 ok this question is actually for kingsuv, mario said that you could probably answer this, since you built the box.. to build a box from inside the trunk he used cleats.. mind if you have a picture of this?

Basically you need a ledge to help pull the box into place until the glue drys. Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
