big ole stack

IMG_2487.jpg

then the 8's , only 2 of these though....whew

IMG_3412.jpg

IMG_3411.jpg

first, the plan was to build up the factory panels like everyone else with what I made here

IMG_3415.jpg

after getting slightly pissed, cut the whole bottom off and was going this route...

IMG_3419.jpg

still wasnt working for me. decided to build the whole panel from scratch

IMG_3421.jpg

IMG_3420.jpg

by the end of the day, think I will end up using just the top of the factory ones...

so now a place for those amps.....

deadened the back roof.....

IMG_2619-1.jpg

IMG_2621.jpg

added 1x1 steel to span the factory bracing....

IMG_3059.jpg

IMG_3062.jpg

IMG_3061.jpg

made rack out of 3/4" mdf. t nuts to mount amps. made so that the other layer of 3/4" behind the amp mount layer will fit tight between the steel on the roof

IMG_3120.jpg

IMG_3110.jpg

mounted, very strong, and easily adjusted. will start glassing soon to direct air over heat sinks and to make pretty

IMG_3187.jpg

IMG_3121.jpg

over all, think it will work out fine up there. didn't want to take up all my center console space with 'em

and thanks kasey, i know i should have done this awhile ago. but just didnt have enough pics to get it going....lol

Dude your woodworking skills are amazing. Great work. I'd love to hear it

thanks man! :drinks: and COMPLETELY stripped at the moment while working on the doors and console. but more than welcome to come by and kick it and see any progress. doors are going fast and got some tricks up my sleeve. thinking plexi and blue leds......
