For instance i see a lot of people mounting components in the door panels and etc, but some people mount their mids and 6x9s in small enclosures. Does this really make a sound quality difference? nCOMP1337 Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 yea i have 6x9s with 70oz magnets, they played nice and hit hard in free air, but i recently built a t-line for them, sadly ive not got my new amp yet so cant test it but ill post a vid once i get it

Ive done it before when I glassed my rear deck and the components sounded nice enclosed. but I could see how a speaker might not like it...especially if the airspace is too small.
