Can't find anything for my Lincoln LS

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone I need something to help with the weight on my Lincoln LS. I'll admit that I am a complete noob when it comes to suspensions, so I dont even really know what to look for. I know my car as a strut with a coil spring around it. And the weight from my batts and amps (600lbs) is really taking a toll. Still need the wall which makes me wonder how bad its going to get. Not really looking into air suspension, dont have room for a compressor, or tank.

Well...if you wanna go the cheap, but worthy route...you could try a couple coil stabilizers from JC Whitney. It won't make the ride much better necessarily, but it will give you the lift you need.

You can also buy air suspension and air it up manually. No need for a compressor or tank. This is how I helped my PT Cruiser with 10 batteries and a VERY heavy wall. Got a 3" lift out of it, so now it looks like I had a 3" drop from stock lol.

Need an install? Hit me up.

The first thing I thought of when I read that...lol

You may be offended by the above. Don't take it personally, I'm just abrasive.

I will try to find the name of it, i saw it on this honda civic that was running 2 motors, one front and one back at a car show last weekend. its like a hydraulic air ram system that gives the performance of coil overs with the smooth and push button raise and lower of air bags.

It looks like a air ride bag, but its a metal cylinder.

can anyone help me out?

if u have room to fit some of those helper bags in side the springs i would try that, if your strut goes in side the spring...well there goes that idea

theres also tho cheap pieces of rubbers you stick in the spring, or also the small steel things they sell at the auto parts they also go in your springs. Just an idea, cheap fixes i think if they work that is

the rubbers
