deeje
So I'm planning a new build with a sundown 1500 from a trunk in about 3.5 cubes and tuned to 32 hz but I'm not sure if I should go with the lvl 4 or the xl. Any input? mhart
if you plan on adding more power, go XL. deeje
The lvl 4 will handle the lows the same and hit as hard? BJD3
The lvl 4 will handle the lows the same and hit as hard? I cant compare the two, but my 4 loves the lows. t-money
i would think the xl would hit harder cuz it has more motor strength and rated at 1500 but the 4 is not a bad sub at all Quote 2002 ford focus hatch pioneer DEH-P8400bh infinity kappa 6.5 components front and rear XS Power D1200 Shuriken BT-100 audioque 120.4 2 15 inch audioque HDC3 D2 2 audioque 2200d big 3 mechman 220a alt with external regulator 479-418-3056

BJD3
i would think the xl would hit harder cuz it has more motor strength and rated at 1500 but the 4 is not a bad sub at all I have little experience with good subs, mainstream or otherwise, but i must say, i luuuv my 4. The thing about motor force though is it will take more power to get the woofer loud. If you're only rinning 1000 per, the 4 will be the better option. That said, with 1500 watts on tap, i think he'll be better off with the xl. Especially if he does decide to get 1800 watts. Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
