How much can a DC Level 3 take?

950W @ 2 ohms from my Audiopipe 15001D

Will a single Level 3 be able to take it, if i crank the gain down a bit

I wouldn't do it. They're rated 600w each.

I heard they were a little underrated, and know this amp can be cranked down to 800W at 2 ohms. would that be alright?

why not buy a sub like a lvl 4 or xl that can take that power or a matching lvl 3 unless you like breaking shit :peepwall:

theres a level 3 on ebay goin for $125 shipped, unless level 4s are less than 175 shipped.

you are not gettin 950 watts at 2 ohms out of the amp after voltage drop and imp rise. i would say around 700 rms maybe. my re se is only rated for 600 rms and bridged at 2 ohms on the 1500d and my gain is just turned down. just cuz it says so many watts at a certain ohm load doesnt mean it will only put out that much. turn the gain down and you will be fine
