I would also go with the Sundown because their power is much less distorted.I never really noticed until recently, but Audioque rates their amps at 1% THD and up, where Sundown rates most of their stuff at .1% THD.

i would have to double check but i believe the 1% is at full power and the .1% is at 4ohm.

Well for AudioQue the 1% is at 4 ohm, 2 ohm, and 1 ohm I believe from the looks of how they did their chart, and then 5% to get 1400 watts RMS out of it at 1 ohm.The Sundown is rated at less than .1% THD at 4 ohm and less than 1% THD at "tested voltage", whatever that means.

Jacob said himself that the SAE1200D could have legitimately been sold as a 1500 watt amp. I like mine, had no problems with it.

The Sundown is a fine amp. I'm not saying it is anything less then quality. I sold mine and bought the MB Quart 1500.1D and the Quart sounded just as good and hit harder. As for THD, don't get caught up into THD ratings. Most of the time it is inaudible anyways.
