Supercharged DCs
Clamping doesn't increase the power, it just tells you how much power your getting. You probably know this already though Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012. Cashdollar2009
Clamping doesn't increase the power, it just tells you how much power your getting. You probably know this already though I wanted to say this too but thought it was a given. But Slapsaho you have been sounding like you thought clamping was a way to set gains? It just measures the actual output of your amp at certain voltages and frequencies. They are all questioning clamping because they don't think you're getting rated power. The 3500.1d WILL put out 4,300wrms given proper voltage. I'm sure the RF is rated at around 4,000 (poor sarcasm) if it's a 2500bdcp but still 4,300>4,000. Again though, it was YOUR ears, and if it wasn't as loud, then it wasn't as loud man. On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free. Electrical energy is not. Robert8252
It doesn't have to be low voltage. Could simply be he rises to maybe 4 ohms. The Rockford will do probably 2k at that rating I think. The AQ is only rated 800 at 4ohm 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

He has Hella bracing in that box but then again quite a bit goes into impedance rise on top of box rise. On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free. Electrical energy is not. Slapuhho
Well, haven't updated this in awhile. Since then my trunk has finally been cleaned up. On another note, I'm not happy with system, for some reason I drop pretty low voltage even with great electrical, i'm only doing 46's in the kick.. I'll be having a winter rebuild, and it will be loud.. 4 18's, low power and lots of gay fur. Team gg Team DOA My Videos
