NcHalfrican
I've heard that with a good front stage, a rear stage becomes obselete and may even hurt your SQ. Is this true? Can you get a good ''atmospheric'' sound from just a front stage?
Robert8252
Have you ever watch TV or been to a concert? Where are the speakers at and where does the sound come from? Not being a ass just giving examples of why you want your sound in front of you and not behind you. Slawsen
Unless your ears are backwards why would u need a rear stage..the bass floods it out and usually ruins the speakers in the back anyways. Robert8252
Lol. The actual bass our subwoofers produce has so much air pressure that even though it's behind you, you can't really tell since it engulfs the whole cabin. Although if you are willing to move your engine and build a wall of subwoofers where your dash is I'll subscribe to your build thread Quote 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
LT.Smoke
I personally use a rear stage i think it gives a fuller sound to the car. In answer to your question though if you have a processor and nice equipment up front you can get away with not having a rear deck Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌

kandiman71874
What you are getting into here with your original post is the true world of SQ. Its a concept that a lot of people cant grasp nor do they ever try to. In an SQ vehicle environment your front stage level of sound, staging, imaging and blending is very key to the proper sound that is desired. Rear stage takes all that has been worked for so hard for to get that perfect placement of the stage on the dash at the correct stage height and pulls it backwards basically defeating the whole point.. CheezyMane13
I have rear stage, and it does come to a point where it will get obsolete, but It also helps with SQ levels when you are trying to get you mids/highs on the same level with your subs when your running an SPL vehicle, just because you want mad SPL doesn't mean that's all you want, you want to hear what there saying to. I say a good smaller rear stage will help if its properly located. It has definitely helped mine, but in most circumstances it wont help Quote take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey 1998 Chevy Venture "Swagger Wagon" Kenwood Excelon KDC-X994 Headunit 3 15" Alpine Type R's in seperate T-Lines 1 RF T1500-1bd for 2 of the 15s 1 RF P1000-1bd for the single 15 3 sets of Hifonics Zeus ZXi6.5C Components( 1 more set to come for Front stage) 1 Hifonics HFi100.4 4-channel amp Stock alt for now (DC HO SPL 400A when funds come in,currently working on buying this) Stock battery and one Optima Redtop for now (looking at XS batteries) 3 15" Alpine Type R's (aka Swagger Wagon Build 1.0) Swagger Wagon Build 2.0 Youtube Videos
