welding cable 4/0

Recommended Posts

ive already got the big three done in 1/0

but ive got alot of welding 4/0 laying around

would it be overkill to do the big three in the 4/0

im just curious because i have atleast over 30 feet of it laying in my garage hah

then i would run normal 1/0 from my xs d3400s up front to my d3100s in the rear in parallel with fuses of course

I think if you have enough it would be more effective to run it from the front battery to the back battery. Longer runs of wire have less current carrying ability than shorter runs(if that makes any sense).

TDH FTW !!!

Your biggest issue you will have is using such a big lug in a tight space around the alt

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
