basscort Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 well i got the first 2 "1700" watt amps in today and tested them on a friends level 5 18. wired the amps to .5 strapped (.25 each amp) and burped a.... 153.1 @ 48 HTZ on a stingy mic so to speak so it sould be louder on the show mic i use. im very impressed so far that these amps do 153s with just 2 out of the 4. cant wait to see what 4 will do!!!! BTW these 1700 watt amps clamped a whopping 5200 watts strapped at .5 rising to 1.8 so each amp saw .9 and put out 2600 watts. VERY AWESOME! Quote

No mention of a TL. lol. it was a TL but roger at crossfire said that curtis (the guy who does our local shows) his tl is about .5 to 1 db louder than his so hopefully this 153.1 is closer to 154 on his mic Quote
