Bejus
So, I am (/we are) about to start a build in a honda civic eg3. our biggest question is, where to face woofers/port? seems like noone build systems in small cars like ours. my idea was sub up port up, but i am open for like anything, as long as its loud greetz edit: oops, forgot to mention: backseats have to stay in their place! Team_DC-Derrick
in my integra it sounded better subs up port up, but got louder on the mic subs up port back.... it sounded louder firing off the glass... over the back of the trunk.. and i didnt have THAT much rattle firing it up over firing it to the rear Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... BJD3
@loudRE, that looks awesome. Me=Jealous Slight thread jack. I think in a trunk car, subs back port back will be louder and play lower because the trunk acts as an extension of the port and the trunk lid provides something to load off of. Does the same hold true in a hatch when facing subs and port up? Edited August 8, 2010 by BJD3 Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. fuggnore
i dont know much about hatches, or anything for that matter. but all i know is that everytime i see subs in a hatchback they and the port face towards the glass, so im assuming this is the best setup for them. btw what years your civic?
