fecupe2001 Posted November 4, 2011 Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 what would be a good tuning for that car? cause i need lows i own 2 RE XXX12s tuned 30hz doing a new box it sounds amazing just not big enough and back as in..like to the seats back or closer to where the trunk opens? soo fired like this.. how they always sounded best..im doin a new box with aero ports and thinking fired from the sides with the rear fire or should i fire it all rear fire? I have the same car but mine is a 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE and my box is about 3.25^3 and tuned to 34hz. When i play different frequencies the one that my car seems to like the most is about 46hz. Thats with the trunk not sealed off. and sub and port back. But i think that guy was saying to turn your subs around and face them into the cab and move the box as far back as you can, as in towards the back of the car. Which seems weird to me. But thats what it sounds like he is saying. Yes, exactly that, it´s louder to the ears and the meter that way, at least the car i´ve worked for about 2 years now, he has a 4.1 c/f box with a 41 hz tuning , i managed to get a kick ass f3 , he can play LOUD as hell from 35 hz and to 60 hz without any problems...
