Cleaner wiring, and hopefully louder Here is my progress so far. The wall as it used to be Took the subs out Started removing my little amp Look at that, I do have a back window Mounted the compressors in the side pockets Old batt set up All ripped out Made up some nice relay harnesses for the compressor relays Audiowraped the spare tire well Made a new battery tray Had fun getting those 80 lbs batts in there Bought my self a new toy, hydraulics wire crimper (takes way too much time to soldier all these 1/0 terminals) Could pull a car with these crimps, they aint coming off. Started body working the inside of the box (will be glassed, wet sanded, and polished) Got started on my new battery bus bars Spent 3 hours machining all the holes Spent another 2 hours tapping all the holes All finished up Dodge Magnum with custom 300c front end, laid out on air bags *4) 12" Cadence Daytona walled *1) AudioQue 20k *270a DC Power Alt (Dual coming soon) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bigg Boy Posted March 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 Got the inside of the box done, looks bad in the pics, but in person its extremely smooth those little dimples are hardly noticeable. As you can see the "cement" idea in the corners as 45's worked great, and man oh man is it strong. Goal of tomorrow is to get the trim panel remade. and add 2x4 bracing and foam to sell it off. (trim panel is going to be mainly cosmetic. Any one have any suggestions on a foam to use? I don't want to use spray foam since the wall is removable, I am thinking of getting a dense foam cutting it into 3" wide pieces and layering it in there so its a tight seal.
