I AM THE FIRST PERSON IN THE WORLD to put 4 18's in a trailblazer, and to ever put dual alternators on an I6 GM 360 Platform...

This makes me laugh so hard. You don't know what every single Trailblazer owner in the world has done. There are probably millions of people who have done things to their Trailblazers and not posted it online. Just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean you're the first to do it.

For all you know, I could have a Trailblazer with four 18s. It's completely possible that I do and just haven't posted about it. You really shouldn't make that kind of claim.

Incidently, we had a somewhat similar incident on one of the forums here in Russia:

A fellow teammate from Sundown Russia was shopping for an older bodystyle Tahoe for a future groundpounder project.....yeah, with 4 18's in the cargo area like you know who.... due to the bad conditions of the older tahoes here he ended up with a 97 Ford Explorer - a nice, clean vehicle with no rust, body damage or serious issues (well he did have to replace the gaskets due to coolant leaking into one of the cylinders, but that's a different story)

So he started his build log on the forum starting from taking aprt the interior to deadn the whole car, getting rims (he got 20's - this stuff costs about twice as much in the US plus the roads aren't great) and as soon as he posted his equipment list - 4 Sundown z18 v2's, SAZ3500's etc he got people saying he needs to stop looking up to Steve Meade and do his own thing... Now, mind you, this is Russia where cars with 4 18's are quite scarce (like I know of 2 right now) and not one SUV with groundpounder style beat... and the fact that it's 4 18's in an Explorer non-walled and keeping the rear seats? I've never even seen one.... and I actually took the time to point all this out - in my eyes it was completely different (eventhough it didn't matter to him - I know he would love to have gotten a Tahoe in the same bodystyle as Steve and put that bish on 6's)..... but yet still people were saying that all this was unoriginal.... WTF???

I'm just gonna stop it at that....to some people it isn't about how similar something is...it's just a reason to vent

I did the same thing, seen blazers with 22s every other day i was like WTF so I GOT 24s, have seen that YET around here

Have fun finding wheels over 22s that will fit RIGHT, the bigger the wheels the harder it is to find the right one. I finally found the right ones for mine, in a 22 u can do the 9.5 wheel but if you do it in a 24 in 4wd you wont be able to turn, luckily i found a 8.5 wheel to fit and NOT rub when i turn. :cough: they are for sale :cough:

i seen this truck a few months ago at a db drag in ohio, i had to do a double take. but then i realized mr smd isnt gonna drive 3000 miles to attend a db drag. it is a nice truck bro, who gives a shit what other people say! if it wasnt for youtube no one would know what steves truck lookd like and itd be ur design.
