Im pushing my Alpine Type R 15" on 1200 Watts RMS

And i broke the seal on the Subwoofer, where it connects to the basket ..

Does anyone know what is used to bond them together? Can i just use some type of epoxy?

Ill upload pics if requested

Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal?

heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Sure you may be fine and nothing happens but that one time something does happen you're fucked.

i dont want woofer broke like bass sound clip clip and voice coil overheat

See what i mean? Im assuming that it ripped a little bit at first and i didnt notice, so then i kept bumping it, but then i realized it wasn't as loud as normal, so i checked what was up, and now 3/4 of the surround is separated from the basket .. I guess 1200wrms is to much for my poor Type R ::P:

well, looks like fox was dead on. so go to harbor freight and get a tube of little clamps/clips for a couple bucks and some epoxy. put the epoxy on the basket and put as many clips as you can fit onto that lip. if any part of the surround comes up, it will "zipper" all the way around very easily. thats why you want a lot of clamps.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

So what kind of clamps do i need?

Just something that will fit rightly around the basket and surround?

How many clamps do you suggest i need? Im going to the store right now
