I have winter steelies with pretty much brand new tires.... I wouldnt mind having the extra traction aslong as they havent been driven on too much, because you will get small rocks into the holes where the studs go and when you insert the studd it could damage it. but i did some on a bmw the other day where he drove on them for wk and was a pain to do but got them all studded. im not sure if all tire shops do that, i know we do and tire rack and not sure about everyone else. $15 is what we charge. so does tire rack. i got mine for free. def worth it i drive around passing cars like nothing while i do the speed limit
BeatBox Posted January 8, 2011 Author Report Posted January 8, 2011 well haven't done anything to the teg. can bearly keep it clean. tried to drive it to work and nothing made it to the end of my neighbors garage and got stuck all this while the jimmy sits in the garage with it's dress shoes(the 24s) so gonna take them off so it can come out and play!

zachfowler222 Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 took the teg to the muffler shop to get some gaskets replaced then started on the wheels again, after thinking aboutit decide to do charcoal gray in betweent the spokes has two half cans already so i didnt have to buy another car. here they are after they been sprayed 2-3 times un-taped them and took a "mouse sander" to start with after 500grit then by hand the rest after 1000grit after 1200grit after 2000grit started to apply polish with drill, you can see it changes from a white paste to gray witch means its working after applying the polish twice you end up with this, not too bad. im sure if i had air tools to do the sanding it would be alot better but for what it is not too bad. thats it for now, still need to paint around the lug holes, should of done if before but didnt think about it next up is the tires when they come in.....(didnt get ordered FML) i need to do this bad! had a blow out and now my wheel is all fucked up! but your did a really good job! also love how this is going +1 for not going the ricer route! BeatBox Posted January 8, 2011 Author Report Posted January 8, 2011 i need to do this bad! had a blow out and now my wheel is all fucked up! but your did a really good job! also love how this is going +1 for not going the ricer route! thanks! yeah with a few hrs of work you can get wheels looking pretty good, the polished look if pretty easy. yeah can go the ricer route, i would of preferred everything stock(exhaust/interio) but the kid change a bunch of crap and half assed it at that. the exhaust was leaking like a mofo not its fixed so not to worried about that. the rest of the stuff has either been taken off or replaced. cant wait til pring to get sht started

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
