DC LVL 5 18" or AA Mayhem 18"

Recommended Posts

DD 3518 is a good option too.

No point getting a big ass sub that's made to handle insane amounts of power (let's face it, both of those subs will take 4kw+ without too much trouble) when you've got 'only' 2500w to throw at it. The stiff suspension and heavy coil will just hold you back.

Mayhem!! Really nice daily sub.

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.

cant go wrong with either sub IMO but I would lean more towards the 4xl. Also, did you consider the Nightshade??
