Then I will figure out where I want to take it....I am trying to have it playable enough to take it to gainesville for FL State finals.

Yes the buss bars are 1/2"*2" Aluminum. I think the bolts are zinc plated homedoept didnt have stainless in the size I needed, but the seem to work just fine I havent had any problems This is rather funny to me, now that everyone has finally stopped bitchin about the 2 subs this thread has really slowed down.

Now I can actually go back and read peoples responses that are related to the build and not have to search through 10 pages of non sense. Anyways I should have more to show tomorrow. Gonna try and get my back battery bank built and the 4 runs of 2/0 run from the front and the buss bars built. Ive got a busy day. Gotta get all of the little things done before I will let myself start building more boxes to test the 2 sets of subs in.

Zinc works, just not as well, and it will corrode which is why people go with stainless. Shoot my truck doest have enough to move for these things to reach there potential. just for shits and giggles I am going to put both subs in my buddies expedition in his box for 2 mayhem 18s and just run wires from my amp into his truck for the subs and see what they do in a SUV Thank You. I am tired of having people arguing over something that just dont fucking matter. I am doing this build for my own enjoyment and information not anyone elses here. If yall want to get into a measuring contest and figure out who's is longer then find a place to meet up and ill send you a tape measure....no homo. Dude take your arguments somewhere else, there is no need for this in a build thread. This is about posting up pics and showing yall what I am building and just giving my opinions about how I like each sub in MY truck not yours. I honestly dont give a flying fuck what anyone thinks about either sub thats why I am doing this for myself. If anyone has something to say about something they see in my build feel free to do so but leave the arguing out of it please. Steve or any mod if yall could delete any BS post feel free or if yall would like I will start another thread just for my build and get all of the shit in this thread outta here. Someone here just needs to be the bigger man and just drop this and forget it. Things were said that were out of line and have been taken care of and that needs to be the end of it. If anything else needs to be said between you two then take it elsewhere and handle your business. This is the kind of attitude I like to see, screw what everyone else thinks. If YOU like it thats all that matters i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
