GymJunkie
As I mentioned before thats the part that rattles, I found out its quite loose, I cant find anything on google (maybe typing in the wrong things), are there some bolts deep in the trunk or is there something else that needs to be done? flashlight_65
You can't really. BUT you can put strips of weather stripping on the chrome piece to keep it from chattering. I have a '93 fleetwood and had the same problem. Now my biggest problem is finding parts for it. 310_cutty
I thinks these moldings are held with clips, maybe one of them broke? If you can take them off I think if you add some 3M double sided tape (its thick)on the inside it might help some...
79 cutty
More than likely one or more of the plastic clips holding it on have busted. They are harder to find now days, but give the dealership a call and they can order them for you. Chances are very good you will break the current ones taking the chrome rocker panel off, so you will need to order enough to replace all of them, and in that back part I believe there is 4 of them. kingkon
if you remove the molding on the top part of the rocker panel you can add some screws into the quarter panel then put the molding back on. on the bottom you can also add some screws to hold it tight onto the quarter panel.
