wasn't there some contreversy between TC Sounds and GZ over the patents? As in, one of the reasons GZ is registered in Germany is becouse the US patent laws are not enforced there?

in any case that is pretty much an LMS Ultra, not sure where thay assemble this one but the lower level subs deffinately come from China

we have some guys running these in the lanes...highest score for a single 18 was I believe 158.xx in IASCA Advanced NW - he was also running two SD16k's - he shattered the cone on the first run with the two amps in...there's also a tiny walled car with two of these burping well over 160.... their recone prices are off the hook - like $500 for an 18"

GZ and TC sounds have a bit of a rocky past. I have a GZ pluto motor built up as well. It is not like an LMS 5400 at all, if you had to compare it to a TC line its basically a 5200 motor with a really wide and slightly deeper gap. 5400 motors have an extra slug and one or the other has a much thicker top plate. Very very sexy, i wish mine had a TI basket.

My pluto is pink B)

EDIT: Now that I look at your sub again, you have the newer GZ Plutonium motor. That's all Ground Zero design and tooling, nothing to do with TC Sounds except of course for the basket. Don't know much about that motor, its not only rare in US but secret. <_<

It's all gone!

Wow

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
