audiofanaticz
How much extra is it to get DD to put the cf dust cap on when you order the woofer Its 50 bucks for the carbon fiber dust cap. Installation on it would be included with the recone. how does one recone a sub from a 12 to an 18?? or an 18 to a 15?? it confuses the hell out of me?? You send your speaker in. You tell them what you want, they take the 6 screwes holding the basket to the motor out and put on a new baskets. So during the recone you are getting a complete brand new sub except for the motor. Guest MegaloManiac
what will they come up with next???????you could put veneer on any sub.what it would sound likei don't know. you cant just put it on any subs. DD designs them differently so it wont effect the sound...too much. heck even putting those felt pads(for tinsel slaps) under the cones can change the sound dramatically.
