Audison/Hertz/Focal system

Hello everyone. I received some great recommendations and feedback as I was trying to decide on which direction to go with my new set-up. I decided to go with the Audison Bit One, LRx 5.1 and ML2500 x 2. I just recently replaced my front and rear 2-ways with Focal 165 V30s. James was quite helpful with his feedback but he recommended going with two amps (2.9 and 4.5). A local shop called Xtreme Vehicle Designs will do the install. Both doors and trunk will be fully dynamatted. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

if your going 2 way. then id say just do the 5.1k

just depends on if want your subs playing off ab power or d

the 5.1k will give the milles more what they like then the 2.9

or just do the first with the 2500's on the d of the 5.1k, front focal midbass to the B and tweeter to the A. Leave the rears to run off something else, doesn't have to be anything crazy

mlk's active on the 5.1 is a pretty sweet setup.

And to the OP

Just make sure you run nice huge power wire to the 5.1

and scope the signal

The amp sucks current, and dislikes any clipping.

I'm confused. I thought the 5.1 would handle both pair of the 2-ways AND the two Mille 2500s?

the 5.1k is 50x2 160x2 1090x1

so with the equipment your running id go active on the comps up front using the 50's for tweets and the 160s for the mids and 1090 for the 2 subs at a 2ohm load

id even scrap the rears all together and put the money towards a bitone.

what James said... though the last 2 I did with Alpine screens, I used the mille MLK2 crossovers bi-amped with all tone controls set to 0 and no crossovers on the deck. used the mille x-over with it's built in time alignment... the sub was set to 70 on the d channels, the b channels were at 50hz highpass, and the A channels were at 500 i think so as not to toss the signals out of phase

Can't scrap the Focal s because they were already purchased and installed last month. All that's left is installing and setting up the 5.1, Mille's and Bit One.
