Robert8252
I had a buddy who could have gotten two 12" L7s for $150 and he is going with DC instead after hearing my XL. It's worth the price difference. TeamHT
Why are you comparing the Level 4 to a cheaper sub? It's not exactly a lateral comparison. Compare with the level 3, the subs are underrated. I was very impressed with the level 3s. The l7 are not bad subs, but my personal tastes stray away from kicker Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
bcpballer64
DC is prolly the better sub but you are talk 1 twelve versus two fifteens... Team-Atomic-Andrew
you ever stop to think there might be a reason behind the cost diffrence? mabie its that DC has the small production overhead, keeps quality control up, or that the sub has better specs, or that kicker is a mas produced sub using the cheapest materials and chinese labor, whereas DC has a US based assembly plant and that their support is based in the US not india, and i still have yet to find more than 5 companies that i can call up and ask to talk to the owner (rusty) and actually get through
evermaxx
Hey hey hey.. Im not puttin DC down.. I loved when I called he was WORKING on a sub.. That shows true company right there. Im just saying for the pricing of it.. Although I will prob go with DC just because of support and what not, just asking a question. hdorre
Are you doing 2 level 4s on that AQ? If only one, I'd do XL Edit: if you're set on a single lvl 4, don't make a huge box and take it easy on the gain Edited September 28, 2010 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
