STEvil
pawn shops usually have better subs for cheaper than walfart I did love beating on the old Jensen XS line from walfart though lol. When the cone changes color turn it down! Quote MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. Sammitch0
That could potentially be the reason why you cooked them... Might I add, did you set the gain with a DMM obviously not, you did SOMETHING wrong to cook them eigther over-powered or clipping or both. Voltage drop causes clipping which causes distortion which kills woofers (quicker then over powering if I might say so.) I would invest in a Voltage Meter or something because 2kwrms is not good on stock electrical, you're lucky if you're even seeing 2000rms with stock electrical. I would deffinatly invest in an XS 1200 or something in the same price range.
