This will plug right into your factory wiring harness and has color coded wires to match the radio. All you will need to do is hook up video wires accordingly

ok, so you cut your factory harness out of your truck? the wiring harness you buy has nothing to do with what head unit you are installing and everything to do with what model and year your car is.

what red lights flash? lights on the clarion?

what is the long radio clip? what does it do?

I guess the above video hasnt loaded or you didnt watch it. Yes i cut the factory harness out, & used the individual wires to splice them to the new head units wires, As the local guy who sold this unit told me it is difficult next to impossible to get the matching heads for this clarion. Bullshit or not i just went ahead and got it.

The red power light flashes, Its getting power just not turning on likely due to there somthing being wrong with the red wire connection or i possibly connected the wrong one.

Didnt make it to the parking break part, Its getting dark real fast in B.C here. Tomarow i will test it out putting cd's in , checking all connections, Etc. I am sure it is somthing fairly simple. It actually fit like a glove right in there, I think molding the dash to it will work nice.

The link I posted is what you would have needed. Is it not possible to reconnect the factory harness? If not the 1st page someone posted what factory wires are what. Yellow is constant on your radio. Red is ignition or accessory, black is ground. All three important wires are right there in your dash. The parking brake wire needs to be installed rather the correct way or bypass it with a relay or toggle switch. Speaker wire colors were also posted last page. To sum up what I just said never fuck with that guy again because for a GMC or Chevy not to have a wiring harness available when they BARELY change their wiring over a decade is complete BD and that guy is lazy and not worth doing business with.

Yellow = Memory

Red = Power

Black = Ground

Blue = Remote

Follow the last guys diagram for colors in the car he is right.

The Video will not come on and it will blink like that if you dont have it hooked to the parking break with the car on and the parking break pulled... So you need to pull out your car manual look up your parking break code, then you need to go out buy a toggle switch apply the parking break wire to the toggle switch and then the other side to the ebrake. You will then need to toggle in the code between on and off I had to do this in my Granx Prix on a similar screen to get video if i didnt the light blinked.
