The Video will not come on and it will blink like that if you dont have it hooked to the parking break with the car on and the parking break pulled... So you need to pull out your car manual look up your parking break code, then you need to go out buy a toggle switch apply the parking break wire to the toggle switch and then the other side to the ebrake. You will then need to toggle in the code between on and off I had to do this in my Granx Prix on a similar screen to get video if i didnt the light blinked.

what happens when he is driving? does it blink red then too?

Once you hook your toggle switch up it just bypasses the parking brake alltogether so as long as the switch is on it plays as if the parking brake is engaged even if your driving.

OK ! Time to get this thread back on topic, im awake it is the next day.

ok so from the red light flashing = constant power getting to the deck. Thats a roger, It is working up to that point Reciving constant power.

I know i did that right. from what i gather I could have :

A. may have miss-pluggged the wire that activates the head-unit to turn on when the cars ignition is turned.

B. Actually need to do the hole parking break job just to get this bitch to turn on

C. A spliced wire came loose

D.Somthing random & unrelated

Any other sugestions would be great ! Im gonna be out working on it all day starting now, With camera in hand so we'll figure this out.

Could maybe one of you dig up some parking break information on a 01' jimmy while im out checking everything over from the dark last night ?
