rockford fosgate T2500 vs. Crescendo 3k

Haha..you must not know who you're talking to.

The 3kwp has a better price, gain knob, and the warranty at .5 ohm. I've read that RF amps don't like being under .7.

If you wanna wire at .5, id go crescendo. If you wanna go 1 ohm, bdCP

someone that couldnt even do his own setup, :)but you are the one who doesnt know who they are talking to :good:

price - is nice for the crescendo, but them changing build houses may or may not be a good thing

gain knob - sub level controls > gain knob I use an oscilloscope to set the gains once and dont have to worry about dirtying up my sound by cranking the gain to get more "boom" :)

and as far as warranty goes, RF takes VERY good care of people that buy from authorized dealers

honestly the only real "advantage" the crescendo has is in price, not everyone can afford the RF's and there is nothing wrong with that.... but with all of the R&D and followup support they put behind their product it is justified :woot:

I agree with Pitbull, RF was GREAT to me whenever there was a problem.

They are A++ in customer service.

so far i'd say go with crescendo one because of price and 2 because i've seen several rf amps have issues

going on a year and a half with no problems whatsoever........and 11 amps in the same system. Where have you seen several RF amps with issues at? They have no more then any other brand and if i had to pick a brand to have trouble with, it would be RF because they will bend over backwards to see that your amp gets fixed and returned FAST. If your crescendo amp had an issue a few years after you owned it,do you think you could rely on them to fix it and have it back in your car in under 2 business weeks? What if you blew it up by your own stupidity and admitted it to crescendo. Do you still think they would fix it no questions asked? With a warranty by RF, chances are good they would still fix it free.

amps will go bad, electronics do that sorta thing, especially with the vast number of NOOBS hooking up the product........but what will the company do about it is the biggest question.

on top of that, if i am running more then one bass amp, i will take the RF over ANY brand. They have technology that no other brand has as far as "self gain matching". If you ever hooked up 8 amps to 4 subs and had to gain match, you know what i mean.

I love they're gain matching tech. Every amp company should try to copy that for sure im not trying to RF suck or its bad just saying i've seen Chodes(back in the day when he ran them) get messed up multiple times every time RF fixed them now i dno if it was warrentied and I know he works for Sound of Tristate and they are a RF dealer so i know he got the hook up so I dno how it would be for the average joe. Granted the constant power is nice to a point.

But as i stated my reason is price
