HOTDAMN Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 so i recenlty got 2 12" kicker l7 and im running them off my kicker 750.1 and when ever they start to hit, the amp shuts off, they are ran at 1 ohm and this did not happen on my old speakers (compvrs) on the same amp. but now it is and i cant figure it out for the life of me.. also when ever i hook up just one speaker to the amp, it does just fine, only problem is when i connect both

ANd test the impedance (ohms) of the woofers. RMac18 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Specs list the amp as 750 @ 2Ohms. The subs are available in both 2Ohm and 4Ohm dual voice coils. Are you sure there wired to 1ohm? Which voice coil setup do you have and how is it wired ?
