ya, that braided sleeving, parts express sells it but it looks different from this pic

and this has got to be a first for me to see someone run an amp with a/v cables

i take it sub woofer outputs dont have a left n right?

oh, and bill do u run 12guage for remote wire? im thinking about redoing all my wireing in my truck and putting some of that braided sleeving on it too, whats the best size for 0guage, 1/2''? my hugfin wire dont flex that good but my monster cable 0guage does but that lil strip of plastic makes it a bitch to get into my amps terminal, might solder it, to solder wire that big do u heat up solder in a metal bowl and dip it in or heat up the wire and stick it to it? i dont want to melt the jacket all to shit in the process

but anyways heres how my wire looked in my truck befor i took it all out

oh, and has anyone ever used some of these before? i was wanting to but dunno if my 0guage will fit with that sleeving or not

i was gunna use this to keep my wire in my sub amp

and on the sleeving, dont u just heat shrink it to the wire to hold it in place? might get some 1/4'' sleeving for my rcas to pretty it up a lil bit and speaker wires

The sub out on the deck is mono so it makes it quick and easy when running over 30ft runs

You don't want to solder the ends before going into an amp. It makes the wire too rigid and a poor connection between the soldered wire and the input on the amp.

As far as texflex goes, i use more of the 3/8 then anything else. You can use as small as 1/4 for power wire, it will allow more of the wire jacket show through for a 2 tone affect. The last thing to get is adhesive 3/1 shrink wrap. I use 3/4 for my power ends and have a roll of about every other size for the other stuff.
