edit: of course i COULD put a divider in there but it would have to be permanent to be strong enough for what im doing. Theres going to be to much pressure in that little chamber to make something "removable".....

Okay No divider

BUT:

I was thinking about it earlier today. either mount subs then cover them and start glassing OR glass the divider wall to the back wall before you mount it and make brackets on the divider that could bolt to the top and bottom. also just bolt the back wall (with the f/g divider on it) to the back enclosure walls

Oh well your the boss man :D :D :D :D

not that master-meade would... but if there was a wiring issue or one blew how would he retrieve the sub then.. i think hes kinda over-limited on space as is. but i love the look, can just imagine those 8 subs banging at each other through the crawl space. while my hearing ceases to exist.

anyways loving this build :)

Pi x R^2 .....(3.14X81)=254.57in^2

(254.57in^2)x8=20,620.2857in^2

***EDIT***

Xmax on a fully Loaded BTL18 w/ Hixmax option would be 27mm I'm told.

27mm=1.10"

so...If SD=20,620.2857in^2

and xmax is 1.10"...

20,620.2857in^2 X 1.10"=22,724.396in^3

22,724.396/1728=13.15069 CUBIC FEET......OVER 13cubic feet ONE WAY!

SO....

On each ocillation/cycle (full stroke forward and back)....

These 8-18's will move OVER 26cubic feet worth of air to the tune of what ever frequency you like BEST! :D

Or roughly Twice what Steves Tahoe will do :P

OUCH!

What do you think this is for?

If you guessed T-Faketeen K then you are right! Much easier to move around then the amp itself. I had Two choices of mounting for these amps and one of them didnt involve a spot for the batterys. This leaves me with my only option.

One amp right in front of the other staggered. You should be able to see the LED's on the back amp just fine and it actually leaves a NICE spot for the battery bank.

Keep in mind the boxes are ugly and just made to see where it was all going to fall into place. The amps have angles on them and are of course beautiful so it wont be as bad as these pics. This is just to show you whats on my mind or i should say what my only option is :D
