See how everything just falls into place? Well the alts will be here this week so now when i hook them up, i will have something to wire them too. Before, with nothing back there, i had no idea where to even bring my wires into the car (they will be ran under the truck).

So right now im focusing on getting it prepped for the alts and the second T15k which should ship this week I HOPE. Then once the wiring is all done i can jump back to the front of the caddy. Things have to be done before things can be done and that is the way it goes on a big install like this.....its gettin handled one small item at a time though!

i was just trying to find some things out on clamshell enclosures...and after lookin at different enclosure designs it actually looks like that most clamshells are essentially different types of bandpass enclosures...anyways...i saw this type of enclosure and thought of the "hoopty"...its a sixth order, three chamber, dual reflex bandpass enclosure...what a mouthfull...lol.

but when i look at the enclosure for the hoopty, this is basically what it is...

i was gonna show it but those batts have been sitting around for a month and it says right on the "instructions" that they are good, but need an initial "pimp charge"...(it doesnt say pimp charge, thats my lyrics ) I was waiting to get the bars in and all batts in parallel before i charged them up.

so ya i conditioned them up and they are all sitting nice.....ill get a pic of it just for you

btw: technically i will be using both amps for bass AND mids/highs.

the first amp will control the left side bass and mids/highs the second will do the opposite. The reason is, and this is by Tony D (the Father of this amp), recommendation. He says it will be better on the powersupply since ill be running 1ohm bridged which is essentially 1/2 ohm. By putting the massive load on two power supplies, instead of 1, it will prevent this thing from wanting to "run out" of power if he plays too long at full power. He says it shouldnt be a problem but just in case, having 2 powersupplies sharing the larger load (sub-bass) will help a ton. Music that is dynamic is not the problem but if we use material that mimicks a sine wave, like long deep bass that dont stop, then that is when it could suffer(if it was going to happen)

So that being said, and it makes perfect sense, thats what i plan on doing.
