It has an MII12000 Via board with a 1.2Ghz processor. It has a 120Gig HDD.

It does not have a TV Tuner card installed, but has 2 available PCI slots.

The MB has a PCMCIA slot, so you can use a card from Verizon, Sprint, etc. Or you can use your cell phone, particularly a Boost phone is cheap.

You could also use USB WiFi dongle. SO, several different ways of getting online.

The weather is tied in with weather.com, that's where it gets the data/info.

I guess that was a j/k, but still I have to say (for people that wonder) that there is no need to overload the PC with an

operating system that hogs all resources. I'd even prefer installing Win98 if possible but not all other

software would be compatible. (So, XP is a must)

I had been wanting to do a carputer setup, but hadnt done it b/c o was prepping for bags. Will the laptop hdd hold up. I'd assue if it can handle Chickens 8 18's, and bags, it can handle jsut bags.

I second the whole windows xp. Vista slows every computer I've used down terribly, its not like your running anything in the car to need anything more than xp. How will that hard drive hold up to the abuse of 30k watts rms? Sound deaden the box your putting it in?
