the rims BG showed on his seville and eldawg those are called 83' and 84's swangas.

basicly the rim in my avatar but all chrome. thats an 84. its a front wheel drive crager/weld starwire rim that came factory on certain eldawgs in you guessed it 1983 and 1984

no offense but those rims suck. I don't get what's up with paul wall and all the h-town people. I'd way rather have some 5 spoke chrome rims with low profile tires.

Sorry for the mini-threadjack, but the reason '83's and '84's are so hot is because they're rare. Try to find some. Do it. Especially some in good shape. I'll wait...

They are a pretty rare option. Most of the eldo's have steel wheels with a hubcap. These are real wires. Being only 72 (I think) spokes, they'll kinda clank if you drive on them too much. Hence another reason they're rare. I'm sure people started hearing some clanking on their Caddy's and junked them for steelies.

You can guy the wheels like they have in the websites, but they're not real. OEM is where it's at. Ask any real lowrider guy and he'll say he'd rather have a fleetwood 2door bench in his deville than the stock deville bench.

getting OG wheels are still hard to come by but TWW has the patents from crager/weld to build to the exactly like the originals, but instead TWW went with steel hubs to prevent clacking. and they are available all day long for a few G's.

you cant tell the difference between OG's and TWW's ones. and its all in taste. some ppl hate 13" spokes some hate 26" on up on small cars, some ppl hate spinning rims. do you and let me do me

got some more pics of tonites work.....i was going to go to a show but i have to make progress on the Hoopty, right now its more important.

Filled in some screw holes with some Rage Extreme......sanded it down

Im on my second 5gallon bucket of resin.....those tubes are "mirror mastic" and made to not ruin the mirrors when i lamintate them to the wood

The roll pan we bought for the EXT that didnt fit might actually be made for this year.....i think its gonna fit!! More on that later but i wanted to show you guys
