Lookin good boss.

Some nice teardrops there for the A pillars I gather...The same style as Ray did on the Hoe? Roughly.

I was thinkin aside from havin a "less smooth" surface to deal with, why Not "swiss cheese the a pillars w/ holes like you would a set of kicks to make sure the resin/glass cann hold well and not peel/crack away?

Did you use the same Epoxy/Glue+material b4 glass as you did on the doors?

I'm just curious cuz I'm thinkin maybe what Ray suggested about the "contact cement+material" as a "base" to glass to.... could replace the "swiss cheese" method when building kicks too.

So I guess I'm sayin..lemme know ur opinion of Rays idea and how well the ahdesion is AFTER resining it.

ya its a similar design....but its a common design really. When you have a mid and a tweet in an a pillar your choices are limited. These ones are countersunk so its a little different. Also its a 5 1/4 so there is a challenge here......i hope i can pull it off!! The plastic is sanded rough and the fleece is glued to it. The resin wont stick to the plastic but it will stick to fleece that is already stuck. Key is to not drench the fabric too much the first time because ive found it will loosen up your glue and it will want to pull away from the plastic and that defeats the entire purpose.....but so far its working ok.

Amazing work....

You plan on shaving the rollpan also?

nahhh but i hope to shave the BUMPER and put a roll pan on ;) If the air tanks dont interfere too much i will....

looking pretty kick ass maybe i missed it but i thought you where doing both doors at the same time looks awesome thou !!!!

what do you mean? Im totally doing both at the same time......what thread are you lookin at? The first one was slightly ahead of the other to make sure i like the shape but its not glassed. They are both almost at the same stage as i type. I have one more coat to put on the fleece when i get home tonite and they will be caught up to eachother. I did the A pillars while i was waiting on resin to dry. Tryin to stay busy when i can.

Hey Steve on the Pillar speakers how are you wiring them?? Are they in the same as the doors?? Or are the the very fronts on a diff. channell? Im just wonderin cause i wanna know how youse gonna tune em with the 360.2?

they are going to be tied in with the 6.5" componants.
