subs firing into speakers

So I have 2001 Suburban with barn doors on the back. My sub setup is subs up port back. what I want is to fiberglass my barn door so i can fit some mids in them. My concern is the damage that might occur when playing my system and the rear doors are closed. Obviously I can wire the amp to a switch so i can control when they play and when they dont. But even if they are not playing do you think the force of the air coming out of the port should be a concern?

Any thoughts?

I know that Boyd's jeep makes his mids flex like crazy from the subs playing.

Just ditch the rears and work on your front staging. It may sound dumb, but you can get in the front of my car and not even notice there are no back speakers, they fill the car like surround sound. Or maybe just put them in the back doors instead of the hatch area.

I only want the speakers there for when I go out to parks and comps...open the back doors and have all the speakers you need right there. My front stage is in the works at the moment and will be plenty strong.

I see, I take it you will run them on their own amp so you can turn them on and off? Maybe you could make some kind of wood cover you can put over them when you aren't showing them off, that should stop damage from the airflow.

the air pressure and vibration will face rape the hell out of them. only thing that may work would be a special door or somethin to conceal them when your ridin around

I don't think it would hurt them. Speakers are kinda made to vibrate, ya know. I'd be willing to bet it could break the fiberglass into pieces before it would hurt the speaker.
