I love the BTL's and always will.......and i am a little jealous that i wont be using these - but i run SMD's and have no plans for switching out or doing a drop in test. The only time i will run a sub other then an SMD is when i go smaller.

the civic has some SMD's sitting on the bench about to go in so negative on that too LOL. Its the only downside to having a sub with your name on it......you miss out on lots of other cool stuff. Thats ok though because its not like i am suffering

Are the SMD's for the civic the ones with the stud since they are going into a wall? I noticed all the SMD's in your vids and pics don't have studs for wall applications.

if you noticed (if you watched) in his shop tower builds the SMD is mounted horizontally and has no rear bracing

it isnt needed if you have enough hold on the front end

If you don't like the look of them, you coulmd have easily said that you don't like the look of them.

But this kind of comment is really a kick in the nuts of the people who designed the sub and put in a lot of days/weeks/months working on the sub.

And imho, these look more different then other neo subs, they actually think outside the box and not just use the same design and try to improve it but they come it with something different.(maybe better, don't know yet, design is better.)

Just don't buy the subs if u don't want to , nobody wants you to buy them.
