I kinda get a idea what you mean in theory.But how are mine subs getting the wrong amperage ?

Lets say if that is the problem,what can i do about it ?Or am i still not getting it

Your subs are getting the "wrong amperage" because you have your settings wrong on your amp.

Bass boost should be at 0 and your gain should be set so your not getting any distortion.

Voltage drop is when something is calling for my amperage but when its called for and you can't supply it, it drops your volts.

That's why when people go big on systems they get more batteries and a couple alts.

And it can be detected by your dome lights dimming and such.

Thnx guys.I know the gain should be set to the system,and it is.But i just wanted to say it so people don't think it just max out you know.

But clipping,the subs don't perform diffrent or make a weird sound.So i don't quickly see where that comes into the picture(i am just trying to understand everything )

And why isn't a wrong constructed box a option ?

I hope that i can charge the battery soon,see if that makes the problem go away.

And a friend of mine thinks it could be the amp.Like it is giving the wrong power.Low,high,incontinues.I doubt that couse it still works good.

How did you set your gains?

You might not hear the clipping, especially if you have never done a comparison and noticed it before.

Because it is very unlikely that your box will be causing this to happen. It is most likely your amp causing the problem, whether it be the gains or whatever.

Your friend is right that it is probably the amp, but his reasons may be wrong. Also, just because it works doesn't mean it can't be the problem.

Try fixing the problem by turning the gains down, and if that doesn't work, get a better battery.

Oh, and no offense, but you are kinda hard to understand, could you please use better english if you can?

Bass boost was and is always on 0.And with the gain turned down,somethimes they still smell a bit with certain songs.

Next week the front bat is going to be replaced for a northstar nsb 70 amps.

And in the back there is already a batt,northstar nsb 90 amps.

Last thing to do about power,is a bigger alt.But for mine car,there isn't a bigger plug and play alt,so there needs to be some contruction of some kind.

And i will do mine best about the english man.In mine younger years i went to america every year for a month,so english was top class ! To bad thats in the past so the english vocab and grammers dropped

When i smell them or getting warm,ofcourse i turn it down

And i notice from everybody that is giving me advice,its proberly the amp or the batt is running low.Next weekend i am going to load up the batt and maybe even try another amp.Then maybe i can get a final solution for this problem.

Still any advice is welcome !
