Nrumpke93 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Share Posted November 11, 2010 I am looking to put a 4-channel amp into my mid's, i have four alpine type-r speakers in my doors and looking to amp up the noise on those, and just wondering whats a good amp for me to go with, i don't really have a spending limit, and i'd like to know which amp would give me the best output for these speakers Here are the specs on the speakers Power Handling * CEA-2031 Power Rating: 100 Watts * Power Handling Capacity (RMS): 100 Watts * Power Handling Capacity (Peak): 300 Watts General * Frequency Response: 65Hz - 27kHz * Impedence: 4 Ohms * Sensitivity: 87dB / W(1m) Thanks! Nrumpke93 Posted November 11, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 11, 2010 Actually, i believe each speaker can run the 100 watt rms, so you could throw some decent power into these speakers, i can't hear them very well over my MTX thunders, and i would like them to be amped up.
