Mine just started doing the same thing...sometimes it works fine, sometimes it sounds really distorted and sometimes there no output at all, and other times there is no output. The whole time the power light stays on but when it sounds distorted the protection light blinks. i figured it was a ground or rca problem but i checked both with no luck. Was your protection light coming on while it was doing this too?

Yes, your's is acting the same way as mine. It cut off some time to time and also get distorted but the distortion goes away after a few seconds...

But i'm upgrading to the SAZ 1500 now. :drinks:

the 12volt.com has great wiring diagrams with pictures included..check there all u gotta do is select number subs and their impedance and bam..!!!! and the check with a ddm to make sure ur gettin the correct load

he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

did you check all the wires to the subs before you disconnected them? that sounds like a loose wire.

my subs are wired up to drop to 1 ohm... i just need to know where the final negative and positive goes to on the amp terminal...

I already tried hooking it up to the left + - side of the amp and im only getting about a quarter power.. same goes on the right side of the - + right side of the amp terminal....
