Get the shop book for the car your working on and it will tell you how what tourq every bolt should be How to take the parts on and off and what tools you need it tells you everything it's the manuals shops use

They go for about 150 per shop manual

I was looking more for a general type thing. im thinking about buying an older car to build as a daily driver and was looking for somewhere to get more information on that. BTW when i say older car im talking like a 72 dodge dart with a slant 6 or maybe a nova with a 305.

My publisher, Car Tech Books, has many excellent (world class even) titles on all things automotive. Most of the books in the catalog have been written by one of the foremost experts in the field. Hit up their web site at www.cartechbooks.com and see for yourself.
