skittlesRgood
do another test for me. measure voltage at both sides of the fuse holder but be sure your probes are on the wire. let me know what you find. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. UnderLoK
Take those Deka's out of the equation and check voltage again. If you still see that drop then it's your wiring. Just to cover the basics you grounded your alt to the frame (strut tower is fine) and NOT chassis. You grounded your battery to the frame (strut tower is fine) and NOT chassis. You ran power from your battery to the alt. You ran power from your battery to the rear fused it at 300a (250 is fine if it wasn't it would blow). All using 1/0. This is all assuming NO rear batteries. Now... If you have those batteries in the back and are grounding everything to the front with 1 run it's more than likely not enough. I bet if you add another ground that 250a fuse will go up. I'm pretty sure that amp will draw 270+ especially in the 11's. That's assuming your wiring up front is correct obviously. Right now I have a max draw of 300a and I run one 270 Mechman and a 3400 under the hood. If at first you do not succeed, you are doing it wrong! -ARSCheck out my walled TBSS build over here4 Fi Team 18s on 2 Cactus K9 DS18 doors on 2 MBQ 1Ks, Vifa pillars on a STL4.500 Pioneer X8500 6 XS Power D7500, 1 3400S Second Skin 2 270a Mechman Alts
BanginBass601
I disconected the dekas and my voltage drop was worse, but at the front batt it doesent drop below 13.9, and what's the difference if I groined to the frame or the chassis?
