imupabove
i bought some type r 10's from a guy on craigslist. he said the subs were dual 4 ohm subs. they were in a sealed box, but i believed him. he even gave me a demo and they sounded nice. i got home... i pull them out the box ... one was dual 4 ohm and one was dual 2 ohm. i might meet up with him today to get a refund. this really sucks. the funny thing is he was powering them with a kicker zx1000.1. so is their a way i can still hook these up to an amp? thank people. iDA-X200/Clarion EQS746 RF T500-1bd (2) 12" RF HX's Kicker 350.4 Alpine & Polk Speakers Stock electrical
Socky
They would work, but they would be seeing different power because of different ohm loads. I would just sell one of them and buy another matching ohm load. Try to get a refund for 1 of them or sell it on eBay lol
Fennygolf
that would be your best bet cause if they arent the same ohm load u wouldnt be able to balance them out to a point where they both get the same amount of power
imupabove
you think a rockford t500-1bd can push (3) 10" type r's? or should i just go with 2. its just i got a sealed box for 3 subs. what you people think? it actual sounds ok with just two subs in the box. iDA-X200/Clarion EQS746 RF T500-1bd (2) 12" RF HX's Kicker 350.4 Alpine & Polk Speakers Stock electrical
Socky
I would say if you can, build a box. Prefab boxes arent really that good, and that box most likely will flex.
